Simesys attaches the greatest importance to the respect of the private life and the protection of the individual data of the visitors of its site. When do we collect your data?

When you Protection of your personal data a demo, download documentation, register for a webinar or wish to be contacted: you fill in a form in which your company name, first and last names, email and business phone number are collected.

Anonymous information about you is also collected for statistical purposes through cookies as soon as you enter our site: information about the computer you use to visit it, which browser you use, which pages you visit, etc.

Why do we collect this data (purpose and relevance)?

We collect this data in order to improve the way we interact with you in the course of our business relationship. Since you are visiting our site, you are likely to be interested in the areas in which we operate: the provision of applications (mobile and desktop) for the inspection and maintenance of infrastructure and industrial equipment. By collecting your personal data, we are able to respond to your request and then send you information targeted to your interests by means of emailings, which we guarantee will be sent at a low frequency. Please note that at Simesys, our objective is to provide you with food for thought, not to clutter up your mailboxes.

How long we keep your data

In accordance with the recommendations issued by the CNIL, we keep your data for a period of 3 years from the last date on which we have been in contact, unless you wish to exercise your right of deletion (see paragraph “What are your rights and how to exercise them?”).

We ensure the security and confidentiality of the data we collect by taking the necessary measures to prevent its deterioration, deletion or access by unauthorised third parties.

Your data may be communicated to subcontractors in order to implement the purpose of the collection (see paragraph “Why we collect this data”). We will ensure that they have only limited access to your data in the course of performing their services and we will emphasise their contractual obligation to comply with applicable data protection legislation.

What are your rights and how can you exercise them?

What is the purpose of cookies and how can I deactivate them?

We use cookies or tracers to enable us to carry out visit statistics (audience measurement). The data we collect is non-sensitive and non-personalised information. However, you can refuse to have this data collected by opposing the installation of cookies on your computer.
